O Libya: Whole world weeps with you!

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi

O Libyan: Whole world weeps for you!

Libya was burnt, its countrymen were decimated and their land was ravaged, while we were made to think that people who were long deprived of their freedom, were finally liberated from the bigotry of ‘Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi’. I’ll admit that at least I believed that and I imagine you did too. Well I’ve one word to say now: ‘BULLSHIT’! Yet again we were fed with lies and this time it was so massive and aptly overseen, that it engulfed the entire world. Government of America and United Kingdom together with its colonialist instincts and all other NATO members, hid behind the veil of United Nations and rampantly devoured a helpless country to serve their petty purpose. People in the rest of the world remained unaware of the real reasons behind this intervention and were rather encouraging to bring the so called dictatorship to end, as of those who spoke against it, their voices fell upon deaf ears. Global ignorant media was successful in providing a cover to these savages and made them look like the saviour of all humanity. Libya’s determination to move forward at the path of growth, prosper in challenging geographical conditions, going debt-free by using its own oil-resources by the people for the people, without keeling to the western powers, finally brought this doom on its doorsteps, proving that an essential check will always ponder over every thriving nation as to see if it is serving and benefitting its illegitimate father countries in the west. Crime against this great country, who vowed to unite whole Africa, is the greatest crime of the 21st century, where a developing nation in its truest sense was destroyed, where people’s direct democracy that prevailed despite of many dissimilarities among them, was overthrown to establish a colonial rule, where its greatest leader after independence ‘Muammar Gaddafi’ was inhumanly tortured and then brutally murdered by cowards. I don’t want to sound inconsiderate but nothing, neither 9/11 or 26/11 in my own country nor any other horrible crimes in recent past has troubled me so much as this unforgivable sin that was brought upon the nation of Libya.

Libya Under Gaddafi

Much has been said about Muammar Gaddafi, whether lies or truth we may never know but there are certain facts and changes that happened in Libya under his rule and its very essential that we must know about them. As it is the best way to judge anybody is to see what he did when he was in power:

  • • Before he threw the previous monarchy, of King Idris, leading a bloodless coup, the literacy rate in Libya was 25% which under him went upto 87%. As on today 25% of Libyan’s have a university degree and 15% have advanced degrees.
  • • Education and medical treatments were free in Libya. If Libyans were not able to find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funded them to go abroad and also provided $2,300/month accommodation.
  • • Electricity was provided free to all its citizen.
  • • Housing was considered a human right in Libya and Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until every Libyan had his own home.
  • • Banks in Libya were state owned and loan was given to its citizens at 0% interest rate by law.
  • • Libya had no external debt and its reserves amounted to $150 billion which is now frozen globally.
  • • Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the ‘Great Man-made River’ project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country. It costed around $27billion.
  • • A portion of Libyan oil sale was credited directly to the bank account of all Libyan citizens.
  • • If a Libyan was unable to get employment after graduation the state gave him/her a salary until an employment was found.
  • • Should any Libyan wanted to take up farming career, they used to receive farming land, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms, all for free.
  • • All newly-weds In Libya received around $50,000 by the government to buy their own apartment, so to help start a family.
  • • A mother who gave birth to a child received $5,000.
  • • 40 loaves of bread in Libya costed $0.15.
  • • If a person bought (there is no word ‘buys’) a new car in Libya, government subsidised 50% of the price.
  • • The profit on oil belonged to the people and not to Rothschild’s BP and Rockefeller’s Standard Oil.
  • • Richest in Africa with the highest living standard and at one time – GDP per capita $11,314 higher than Japan, Libya was known as the ‘Switzerland of the Middle East’.
  • • Woman in Libya had equal rights, not only in mere theory, but also in practice. However, under the Shariah-Law-based ‘Transitional National Council’ this has changed quickly now.
  • • Libyans had a direct participatory democracy based on People’s Conference that put other so called ‘democracies’ to shame.
  • • Being an Islamic country Libya was the only one in North Africa and the whole world where fundamentalist and radicals were not accepted at all.
  • • Gaddafi planned to introduce a single African currency made from gold, which would have eradicated the US$ and Euro as trade currencies for Africa, in consequence freeing them from the bullies like Rothschild.

What Followed

Far from being authentic, the so called revolution uprising in Libya comprised of Al Qaeda led armed rebels backed by NATO forces. Libyan people who supposedly led the revolution against their present regime were on the contrary against the rebels and the presence of NATO in their country. It all started when a prison filled with pro-al-qaeda fundamentalists was usurped and they were all set on loose with arms. Gaddafi, who himself had been closely working with the west to suppress Al Qaeda, was toppled and mercilessly killed by the same organisation that brought war on the soil of America in 2001, and believe it or not, it was from the support of America. In short US armed Al Qaeda to overthrow Libya’s Gaddafi. While every true Libyan supported Gaddafi and they proved it on July 2011, when 1.7 million Libyan’s (95% of the population of Tripoli and one third of the population of Libya) gathered in Tripoli in favour of revolution against the Al Qaeda rebels and NATO intervention in their country. And even after the full-fledged war was declared on the civilians, they still came and crowded streets of Benghazi, Sabha, Al-Ajaylat, Zilten, Zawiyah, AL-Aziziya, Sirte, Al-Khums, Zaltan, Tarhuna, Bani Walid. Well, you should not go with my word and take a plunge on internet and you shall find the truth. (Try avoiding the western media, you probably have seen it already).

What’s left of Libya

With their guide murdered, the whole system destroyed, their land and resources taken over, Libya stands on the brink of a dark well, with no hope whatsoever to revive the same zeal it followed for almost 40 years. With AL Qaeda flag fluttering atop the Benghazi courthouse in Libya, roaring slogans of ‘Islamiya! Islamiya! No east, no west!’, human rights deteriorating with every passing day, with western oil-eyeing giants back to minting money and leaving the country in chaos, with present silence of all those western governments and journalists who gave a boisterous laugh at the success of their intervention, Libya that was in the days of yore is now just a remnant of that fervour and awaits its unthinkable end. Divided into East and West Libya, with no authority and government to put order into the chaos created, and now one of the prominent stronghold of ISIS, all one can do is, cry and laugh simultaneously at the kind of democracy west wanted to create, this time even worse than in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Curse upon the immoral crusaders

However mythical and fantasy of a troubled soul it may seem but perpetrators at one point are brought to justice by a universal law that sees all. Although these ghastly acts provoke a resort to violence for many but that will only prevent unearthing these black deeds that these crusaders term as legitimate orders. Also what violence can these helpless people bring onto them who control their survival at the strokes of their pen. But that day may not be far when they shall reap for all the travesties of justice they caused. You who mock the vibrant zeal of thriving countries and keep your own people in a garb of lies and distortion of truth, shall suffer at the hands of likeminded people who believe in humanity. Yes you shall suffer, not personally behind the closed doors, but at the same world stage were you proclaimed to be the preserver of peace. Those of you who thrive on our hard work and still mislead us into believing your falsities, ruling us under the pretext of pseudo-democracy, bringing agony and mayhem to great direct democracies like Libya, will soon perish. All of you sitting at those high altars with power, who have ganged up and pledged to their selfish interests and giving impunity to those who serve you, a bitter end awaits you. You the heads of powerful nations, who are entrusted upon with big responsibilities to make our world a better place have betrayed all humanity and you shall be publicly humiliated and your apologies should go unheard on deaf ears. Those who will never be forgiven:

– George W Bush

– Barack Obama

– Hilary Clinton & associates

– David Cameroon

– Nicolas Sarkozy

– Silvio Berlusconi

– NATO members

– Saudi Arabia

– UN

– Foreign Western Media

– And all those who kept silent despite knowing the true reasons as to why Libya was burning at the hands of cold-blooded killers and pseudo-civilised forces of west.

Apology

O my Libyan brother’s and sisters, mine and the whole worlds heart weeps for you and your great leader! Nothing we could do to stop this devastation brought upon you but know that we shall remember the cowards who incinerated your land with the power we gave to them. We know you are helpless and weak in front of those who suppress you today but know that your determination and courage shall prevail in the end. No words can amount to condole what you have gone through but if possible accept this apology from your brothers and sisters all across the globe.

Last Statement From Colonel Muammar Gaddafi

“For 40 years, or was it longer, I can’t remember, I did all I could to give people houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food, I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert, I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Reagan, when he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me, instead he killed that poor innocent child, then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union, did all I could to help people understand the concept of real democracy, where people’s committees ran our country, but that was never enough, as some told me, even people who had 10 room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied, as selfish as they were they wanted more, and they told Americans and other visitors, they needed “democracy,” and “freedom,” never realizing it was a cut throat system, where the biggest dog eats the rest, [b]but they were enchanted with those words, never realizing that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup, no matter what I did, it was never enough for some, but for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and Muslim leader we’ve had since Salah’ a’ Deen, when he claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya, for my people, it was his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination—from thieves who would steal from us— now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history, my little African son, Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country, to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American style thievery, called “capitalism,” but all of us in the Third World know what that means, it means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer, so, there is no alternative for me, I must make my stand, and if Allah wishes, I shall die by following his path, the path that has made our country rich with farmland, with food and health, and even allowed us to help our African and Arab brothers and sisters to work here with us, in the Libyan Jammohouriyah, I do not wish to die, but if it comes to that, to save this land, my people, all the thousands who are my children, then so be it. let this testament be my voice to the world, that I stood up to crusader attacks of NATO, stood up to cruelty, stood up to betrayal, stood up the West and its colonialist ambitions, and that I stood with my African brothers, my true Arab and Muslim brothers, as a beacon of light, when others were building castles, I lived in a modest house, and in a tent, I never forgot my youth in Sirte, I did not spend our national treasury foolishly, and like Salah’a’deen, our great Muslim leader, who rescued Jerusalem for Islam, I took little for myself… in the West, some have called me “mad,” “crazy,” but they know the truth but continue to lie, they know that our land is independent and free, not in the colonial grip, that my vision, my path, is, and has been clear and for my people and that I will fight to my last breath to keep us free, may Allah almighty help us to remain faithful and free” (Colonel Muammar Gaddafi)
